Every design begins with a question. For Eclipse, that question was simple:
How do we take something people already love and make it softer, deeper, and even more inviting?
“We set out to create something softer and more luxurious,” says Tom, Eva’s Head of Design. “But we wanted to keep everything people already loved, the modularity, the removable washable covers, and the flexibility to adapt as life changes.”
A Softer Evolution
The Eclipse Sofa was born from the foundation of our Everyday Sofa. It kept the smart features our customers love such as modularity, ease of care, and adaptability. Then we added something new, a deeper sense of comfort.
“With the addition of feather-down back cushions, Eclipse brings that irresistible sink-in feeling,” Tom explains. “It’s designed for slow moments. The kind of sofa that makes you want to stay a little longer.”
Everything about it was designed to feel slower, to make space for moments that stretch and days that breathe.

“The goal was to make a sofa that feels indulgent without being intimidating,” Tom says. “It’s a piece that works in every home. Versatile, long-lasting, and made for real life.”

“We treated comfort and style as equals,” Tom explains. “Every decision, from the seat depth to the fabric texture, was about creating a sofa that feels as good as it looks.”

Eclipse was made to grow with you. The Arc, Cube, and Pill modules can be arranged and rearranged as your space changes. The feather-down cushions can be reshaped and refreshed, keeping their form and comfort for years to come.
“I love that you can just sink into it,” Tom shares. “It has that inviting comfort that makes you want to stay a while.”

“I’m proud of our team,” Tom says. “Designing something like Eclipse is never a solo act. It takes many hands to bring an idea to life. We challenge each other, refine, and keep pushing until it feels right. The end result is something we can all stand behind.”
