What is the iF Design Award?
The iF Design Award has been recognising outstanding design since 1954. Based in Hamburg Germany, it’s known worldwide as a mark of quality, innovation, and thoughtful design. Each year, designers from around the globe submit their products, which are reviewed by 129 international design and sustainability experts. Winning means a product has been judged not just for how it looks, but for how it works and fits into everyday life.
It’s an acknowledgment that carries weight in the design community, a recognition that the product’s functionality, usability, and attention to detail meet very high standards. For us, it’s a reminder that careful design decisions, even the small ones, truly matter. We’re deeply humbled that the Slideaway Sofa Bed was chosen from over 10,000 submissions across 68 countries.

The Slideaway Sofa Bed has a proud history of recognition. In 2023, it received the Gold Good Design Award, one of Australia’s most respected design accolades. The following year, it was awarded the Red Dot Award, recognised for its functionality and beautiful design.
