How comfortable is the Eva Slideaway as a bed?
We don’t compromise on comfort. The Slideaway Sofa Bed is designed with supportive memory foam cushions that feel soft to sink into, while still holding their shape overnight. Generously sized for two sleepers, it’s a sofa bed that works just as well for guests, though don’t be surprised if you end up claiming it for yourself.
How long does it take to convert the Slideaway from sofa to bed?
The Slideaway Sofa Bed uses a smooth sliding mechanism, so you can go from sofa to bed in a matter of seconds. No fiddly setup like traditional pull out sofa beds, it’s designed to feel easy and intuitive, so you can simply slide it out when you need extra sleeping space.
Can the Slideaway covers be washed?
Absolutely. We know life can get messy, and we want you to feel comfortable with your sofa bed without worrying about sticky fingers or spills. The fabric is hardwearing and easy to care for, regular vacuuming will help keep it looking fresh. When your sofa bed needs a deeper clean, just unzip the covers, remove the inserts, and machine wash at up to 30°C (no tumble drying). For best results, avoid harsh cleaning products and wipe up spills quickly with a cloth or paper towel. Full care instructions are on the label if you need them.
Does Eva deliver sofa beds to regional areas?
Yes, we deliver sofa beds across Australia, including regional areas. Weekend and regional deliveries may incur additional shipping costs depending on your location, which will be shown at checkout before you place your order.
How fast is delivery for the sofa bed?

What warranty does the Eva Slideaway Sofa Bed come with?
Yes. We stand behind the quality of our products, so the Slideaway Sofa Bed comes with a 5-year limited structural warranty on the frame, a 2-year fabric warranty, and a 2-year limited warranty on soft furnishings and other components. Can I try a sofa bed in person before buying?
Yes, you can. The Slideaway Sofa Bed is on display at both our Carlton House showroom in Melbourne and Surry Hills House in Sydney, so you can sit, stretch out and try them in person before you decide. Both spaces are set up like real homes, so you can get a proper feel for how the sofa bed might feel in your living room or spare room.

We bought this sofabed as it's one of the only on the market that has an open-leg design which we liked and looks great.
As a bed, it's very comfortable to sleep on, except that the 'seam' between the two parts of the mattress isn't the most comfortable. It sometimes makes you feel like you're rolling towards the seam. You have to pick which side of the mattress to sleep on.
As a sofa, however, it's not comfortable. The 2 back sofa cushions and the armrest-pillow cushions are SUPER stiff so it's not a sofa that you can lounge or cuddle up on. I think if these sofa cushions were softer it would be a phenomenal product. I'm in the market for another sofa because of this.

We’ve had our Eva sofa for 6 months. It’s very stylish, really comfy, great to sit and sleep on…. But it’s a nightmare to clean. We got it in moss green and something about the weave makes it trap every single dust/animal hair/particule flying by. Despite regular cleaning, the sofa constantly looks dirty. Vacuuming doesn’t do anything, sticky rollers either… the only thing that works? Tweezers. It takes ages to clean the sofa. The weave has already worn off on some parts of the sofa and it looks like we’ve had it for years instead of months.
