Space planning guide
Measure once.
Love it forever.
Nothing worse than falling for a sofa that doesn't fit through the door. Here's how to get it right before you buy.
The bedroom
Your bedroom should feel like a proper retreat. That means getting the fit right so everything has room to breathe — including you.
Two mattresses, two different heights — worth knowing before you commit to a frame. The Comfort Classic is a medium-firm pocket spring mattress sitting at 28cm tall. The Premium Adapt is an adjustable-firmness hybrid at 32cm. Both follow Australian standard dimensions and fit any Eva bed frame.
-
1Your room Note the width & length of your room, along with the windows and doors. You don't want to block either.
-
2Your bedside tables Allow 45-60cm either side. You'll want somewhere to put your phone and a glass of water at 2am.
-
3Your height If you're over 183cm, pick a Queen or King — all sit at 203cm long.
-
4Who's sleeping in it Solo and stretched out? Double's fine. Two people who value their space? Go Queen or King.
| Size | Width | Length |

| Single | 92 cm | 188 cm |
| King Single | 107 cm | 203 cm |

The frame extends beyond your mattress on all sides — so measure for the full footprint, not just the mattress size. It also sits higher off the floor than you'd expect, which is great for storage underneath.
-
1Your room's full floor space Note where doors and windows are — neither should be blocked. A wall behind the headboard is non-negotiable.
-
2Delivery access 4 Slim cartons. Most standard doorways handle it fine. Measure tight corners or stairwell landings just in case.
-
3Clearance around the bed 60cm either side to move freely. 90cm if you share the bed and don't want to negotiate getting out in the morning.
-
4What's going underneath There's 20cm of clearance below. Check your storage boxes or suitcases fit before you commit.
| Size | Frame length | Outer width | Headboard panel width |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single | 202 cm | 108 cm | 80 cm |

20cm underbed clearance, perfect for adding Kino Storage Drawer.
Same sizing logic as the Timber Bed Frame, but the Delve has a padded headboard and lift-up side rail storage built in. Tool-free.
-
1Room dimensions Measure the full footprint and allow breathing room on all sides — same approach as the Timber Frame.
-
2Doorways and access The frame ships in flat boxes. Measure your doorways, hallways and any staircases. 80cm+ width is ideal.
-
3What you're storing inside Each side of the bed frame features two lift-up rails that reveal a full-width storage cavity. Good for spare linen, winter quilts, or the work laptop you want to forget about after 6pm.
-
4Adding a Kino Drawer? Check the Kino product card below for what to plan for.

The Kino slides in under your Timber or Delve Bed Frame — no extra floor footprint, just more easily accessible storage. Slot it in, attach the right fixings for your bed size, and you're done.
-
1Your bed size The Kino fits Double, Queen and King frames. There's a version for the Timber and a separate one for the Delve — make sure you pick the right one.
-
2Your floor surface Works on both hard floors and carpet. On thick carpet, check the drawer pulls open freely before positioning the bed against a wall.
-
3What you're putting in it The Kino holds up to 40kg. Heavier items toward the back, lighter toward the front for balanced movement.

The Hideaway Side Table works as a bedside table, but it's at home anywhere — next to the sofa, in the hallway, or wherever you need a flat surface and a place to hide the mess.
-
1Bedside clearance Measure from the edge of your mattress to the wall. 45-60cm gives you a table that's easy to reach without getting out of bed.
-
2Height relative to your bed The top should sit at roughly mattress height or just above. Check your bed's height first.
-
3Drawer direction The drawer pulls out from the front — make sure nothing is blocking that path.

The living room
Your sofa is probably the piece of furniture you'll spend the most time on. Measure thoughtfully — your future self, sprawled out at 9pm, will thank you.
With over 100 configurations, the Everyday Sofa can be shaped to almost any room. The trick is mapping your space first — so you pick the config that works for now, and know there's room to add modules later.
-
1Room width and depth Measure the full space. Note any alcoves, columns or radiators that eat into usable floor area.
-
2Distance from the TV or focal point Aim for at least 2-2.5m between the sofa's back and wherever you're watching. Less than that and you'll be craning your neck nightly.
-
3Traffic flow Provide a 45cm walkway between your sofa's front edge and your coffee table. Enough to walk past without turning sideways.
-
4Chaise orientation The chaise sits left or right — check which direction opens up the room before ordering. Order free swatches to test the fabric in your own light first.

The Eclipse has a genuinely generous seat depth — which means it needs more floor space than a standard sofa. The kind of sofa you'll need to schedule time to get out of. Plan accordingly.
-
1Total room depth The Eclipse sits deeper than most sofas. Allow the same clearances as the Everyday Sofa, but double-check your configuration's depth on the product page.
-
2Access route Modules arrive separately. Measure doorways and hallways — same principle as the Everyday Sofa.
-
3Walking space Provide a 45cm walkway between your sofa's front edge and your coffee table. Enough to walk past without turning sideways.

Three modes, three footprints to plan for. Always measure for bed mode first — it needs the most floor space. Sofa and daybed mode are the bonus.
-
1Bed mode first, always The base slides forward toward you. Make sure there's nothing in front blocking the full extension — roughly 188cm of clear floor from the back wall.
-
2Slide direction The mechanism pulls out from the front. Plan your room so that side always has clearance — even when guests aren't coming.
-
3Delivery access Ships in 2 main parts — frame and base. Each needs about 80cm+ to get through a doorway.

Two shapes — Long and Square. The Long is great in front of the Everyday Sofa. The Square works when you need more surface area and a spot to hide a blanket for those nights you can't be bothered moving.
-
1Gap between sofa and TV unit Leave at least 35-45cm between the table edge and your sofa front. Enough to get past without kicking it.
-
2Table height vs sofa seat height The Hideaway sits at 37cm — ideal for reaching from the Everyday Sofa's 72cm seat height without leaning too far.
-
3Long vs Square Long suits narrow rooms where depth is limited. Square works when you have equal space side-to-side and front-to-back.

Compact enough to tuck in next to your sofa arm, a reading chair, or at the end of a hallway. One drawer, three compartments, twist-on legs. Done in a minute.
-
1Sofa arm clearance Measure from the end of your sofa arm to the nearest wall. The table should sit in that gap without blocking movement.
-
2Height vs arm height The table top should be at roughly the same height as your sofa arm — so your coffee is arm's reach, not a stretch.

The dining room
A dining table always needs more room than you think — especially once everyone pulls their chair out. Here's how to plan for it properly.
More space than you think. That's the rule with dining tables. You need to measure for chairs pulled out, people walking behind, and enough clearance on every side. The table itself is just the start.
-
1Room dimensions Measure the full space — including any sideboards, buffets or built-ins that take up floor area.
-
2Clearance on every side 90cm minimum from table edge to wall or furniture. That's enough to pull a chair out, sit down, and let someone walk behind without interrupting dinner.
-
3Seating count Allow 60cm per person along the long edge. A 6-seater needs at least 150cm of table length — the Kin 6-seater has that covered.
-
4Pendant light position Aim to hang your pendant 70–80cm above the table surface. Any lower and it cuts across sightlines; any higher and it loses its effect. If your ceiling is extra high, go closer to 80cm to keep it feeling intentional.
| Size | Seats | Min. room width |
|---|---|---|
| 4-seater | 4 people | 3.0 m |
| 6-seaterPopular | 6 people | 3.3 m |
Min. room width includes 90cm clearance each side. Confirm exact footprint dimensions on their product page below.
Built to pair with the Kin Table. Easy to assemble, comfortable enough to linger, and upholstered so it actually feels good to sit in.
-
1Chair height vs table height Standard dining chair seat height is 45-50cm. The Kin Table sits at standard dining height — they're designed to work together.
-
2Space when seated When someone is seated and pushed back slightly, a chair occupies around 45-55cm of depth behind the table edge. Factor this into your room measurement — not just the footprint when chairs are tucked in.
| Dimension | Approx. |
|---|---|
| Seat height | 46 cm |
| Chair width | 46 cm |
