What is a hybrid mattress made from?

While the saying goes, ‘good things come in threes’, we think five is better.

The Eva Mattress Plus is made up of five luxurious layers for better sleep and ultimate comfort, with the added benefits to match. From the structured base to the pillowy top, here’s how each layer aids in a sweeter slumber that’s better for your back.

Edge support

For some, living life on the edge is thrilling. But when it comes to bedtime, holding onto dear life, trying to push your co-sleeper back to their territory and grappling for space makes for a less than thrilling sleep.

That’s where edge support comes in. The Eva Mattress Plus has a dedicated foam encasement that surrounds the sturdy steel pocket springs, designed solely for the purpose of great edge support.

In the Eva Mattress, although there is no dedicated edge support, the robust springs are lined along the outer surface, which help the mattress keep its sturdy structure for a sag-free sleep.

Five zone pocket springs

We’ve all been there before – you’ll be sharing a bed and patiently waiting to drift off to a sweet slumber, but your co-sleeper has other ideas. Tossing, turning, stretching and sprawling, it feels like you’ve been laying there for a lifetime waiting for them to settle.

Eva's mattresses have five-zone pocket springs - the perfect remedy for partner disturbance. By improving the level of contouring around the body, it allows for extra comfort making it easier to fall asleep, and as the springs aren’t linked, it eliminates movement over the entire mattress so you don’t feel a thing.

Density foam

One of the top reasons we look to purchase a new mattress is when the mattress starts to sink and you wake in the middle of the bed, peering over the sides wondering why you’re waking up so stiff.

The density foam layer sits between the soft-upper and structured-lower layers of the mattress. Due to the compact fibres, it creates the not too hard and not too soft feeling, allowing proper alignment of head, shoulders, and hips for better sleep and spinal support.

Premium latex foam

When buying a mattress, we know it’s something we’re going to own for the next 10 or so years. And over that time, we sometimes share our beds with partners, children or pets, meaning that germs and other nasties might show up for a visit.

The premium latex foam layer is antimicrobial, dust mite resistant and created with an open cell and pinhole structure to increase breathability, flexibility and keep the germs at bay.

Gel memory foam

Nothing disrupts a good night's sleep more than waking in sweats or the shivering cold.

The gel memory foam layer of the Eva Mattress is infused with millions of tiny little beads of goodness that provide temperature regulation to adapt to your body. By redistributing heat, it keeps you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, allowing for better sleep all year round.
