How to Care for Your Memory Foam Mattress (So It Keeps Taking Care of You)
Whether you’ve got the Comfort Classic or the Premium Adapt, a little care goes a long way in keeping your Eva mattress feeling fresh, comfy, and supportive for the long haul. Here’s how to keep your mattress in tip-top shape—no stress, just simple steps.
Why it matters
Your mattress is a pretty big deal. It supports you through eight (ish) hours a night—maybe more if you’re lucky. Over time, it naturally collects dust, dead skin, sweat and other bits and bobs you’d rather not think about. A little regular upkeep keeps your sleep space feeling clean, comfy, and cosy. And it helps your mattress last longer too.
The basics
Use a mattress protector
It’s your first line of defence against spills, stains, and allergens. Just make sure it’s breathable so your foam can do its thing.
Rotate it every 6–12 months
This helps wear happen evenly—especially if your go-to spot is always the same corner.
Let it breathe
Once in a while, strip your bed and give your mattress some fresh air. It helps wick away moisture and keeps it feeling fresh.
Keep it supported
A solid base = a happy mattress. Make sure your frame or foundation gives it the support it needs.
For when things get messy
Vacuum the surface
Use a low-suction handheld or upholstery tool to gently clear away dust, hair, and crumbs.
Spot clean stains
Mix a small amount of gentle detergent with water. Dab (don’t soak!) the stain with a clean cloth, rinse with plain water, then blot dry.
Deodorise with baking soda
Sprinkle some over the surface, leave for 15+ minutes, then vacuum it up. Your nose will thank you.
Let it dry fully
Make sure your mattress is completely dry before making the bed again. A fan can help speed things up—just keep it out of direct sunlight.
Quick tips to extend its life
No jumping, even if it’s tempting.
Wash bedding regularly (especially if you sleep with a pet).
Keep humidity in check to prevent dampness or mould.
Whether you’ve chosen the cloud-like comfort of our Premium Adapt or the breathable support of the Comfort Classic, giving your mattress a little TLC means it’ll keep doing what it does best—supporting your best rest.
